Aficionados of the charming extraterrestrial are in for a treat, as Glénat, a renowned manga publisher, has chosen to reprint the complete works of Rumiko Takahashi, author of Urusei Yatsura, also known as Lamu. Does the name sound familiar? It's totally normal! This genius creator is the author of many great works such as Ranma ½, or Maison Ikkoku (also known as Juliette je t'aime). This new full-color edition will be available from November 6, 2019. The reason for the reprint is that the mangaka was the winner of the "Grand Prix" at the last "Festival international de la BD d'Angoulême". Let's return briefly to Lamu. In the 80s, the cartoon was broadcast on "Club Dorothée" and was particularly popular with young men for its generous representation of breasts.

Lamu, or Urusei Yatsura in the original version, is not only the title of the manga but also the name of the main heroine. The story centers on Rony, a petticoat-loving student with whom Lamu falls in love. At first, this seductive and attractive alien had come to conquer Earth, but this encounter turned her plans upside down. In the first episode, Lamu challenged Rony: if Rony could defeat her, she would leave humans free, but if she won, she would dominate Earth. He simply had to grab her by the horns to win... Fans will surely remember how, using a fishing rod, he managed to undo Lamu's bra, a golden opportunity to pounce on her and win the fight. From the very first episode, she graced us with the sight of her breasts, foreshadowing the best, and she never disappointed.
